The place to find McLuhan's papers is at the National Archives and Library in Ottawa. Contact the archives first, as the papers must be requested and ordered from suburban Gatineau.

In Toronto, take a trip down nostalgia lane by visiting the historic Coach House, on the St Michael's College campus in a parking lot behind the Centre for Medieval Studies and Multicultural History Society. McLuhan taught there from 1968 until his death in 1980.

Visitors can see the mural "Pied Pipers All" an allegory of television, by French architect and painter Rene Cera, in the ground floor room where the seminars happened. The mural was retrieved during the 1998 Coach House Festival, with the help of Mrs Corinne McLuhan, and the cooperation of St Michael's College.

The McLuhan Program web site offers a changing cabinet of curiosities. www.mcluhan.utoronto.ca
