ResourcesThe McLuhan global research network supports collaborations among scholars and practitioners whose work is inspired by Marshall McLuhan. The Symposium, 40 Years of Understanding Media commemorates the 40th anniversary of publication of the groundbreaking book, McLuhan's third book (after Mechanical Bride 1951, and Gutenberg Galaxy 1962). Convening in Winnipeg, June 3rd, 2004, at McLuhan's alma mater the University of Manitoba, during the annual meeting of the academic societies, sponsored by the Federation of Social Sciences and Humanities.
